Maybe Henry is saying that he deliberately tried to ignore/shut out the problem that was his old partner?? Eventually, with all these dangerous animatronics running around, he can no longer stand by. this sparks his plan to gather them all in the pizzeria and burn the place down to destroy them for good.

Henry realizes that from this point, that the machines he created are now possessed by the souls of the dead children; the souls wanting to “run free”.

William Afton was a brilliant man, and he and Henry were good friends. it’s unlikely that Henry wouldn’t feel some level of regret for “betraying” his old partner

Henry feels obliged to stop William and his creations from hurting anyone

a reference to Henry’s plan to destroy the animatronics, ending the saga

2 out of 4 of the salvaged animatronics in FFPS contain the soul of one of Afton’s children. on top of that, the 4 animatronics (besides lefty) are all his creations. especially in his current pcycopathic state, he probably would look upon them with a sort of fondness or pride

this probably means that, with everything that’s happened, Henry might be feeling depressed and grim. he’s lost his passion, his family, and his friend, so i wouldn’t be surprised

Henry and William worked really well together when they were business partners. now, Henry is the only major character who hasn’t died. sure, he’s lost his daughter, but he might feel like a stranger because he hasn’t experienced the pain his partner (and others) have.
