I've been through some hard times

Seen brothers blasting over dimes

While others roll on the block with spinning rims that shine

Laid back behind the tint reclined

Negativity often shines in the eyes

Of the youth in they prime

They see the beautiful imagery and

Enlighten they mind in unsuitable activities

While others flee the city, switch the block to the burbs

Isolated but intoxicated checking them curves

In the videos until the imagery penetrates deep

Into a more fictional reality but it's real

Got to pay the bills should you steal and kill

Or slang on the corner with the brothers that chill?

The pressure's real

When you see the pastor tripping diapers dripping

Feeling DMX on that cut where he's slipping

Enemy’s pry to try to find more ammunition

I’ve fallen many times

How much better now my decisions

I pray and fast to purify my intuition

Through my reflection
