[Verse 1: Time]

Let the spotlight cremate me and burn me to ash

Let me get what I deserve I wanted this in the past

I'm seeing envy in my limelight and death in my timeline

My third eye's trying to find sight I hope my stars align right

I'm laying on my deathbed contemplating the previous

Thinking bout my good deeds along with the devious

I tell the man next to me the earth is a hospice

I see the reaper in the closet and blood from the faucet

He said you never know how long you'll be here

Yesterday I was 20 now there's ghosts in the mirror

I ignored all my friends and neglected my family

Only to impress record execs who couldn't stand me

He said I went after victories and only found defeats

But I met experience on all of those cross streets

He said if you have nothing, don't die to defend it

The truth was born straight but greed will bend it

He said the past is a ghost and the future is a phantom

And if you time travel, they'll hold you for ransom

He said he was Jack Daniel's hostage and guilty of gossip

He said he heard death knocking, then he stopped talking

His first experience of freedom was after his death

Because during his life he was a slave with every breath

I ripped open the curtain and saw a familiar stare

Cardiac arrest, flat line he wasn't there

[Hook: Nonnahs]

What if you knew that this breath was your last?

Would you use it to complain or use it to laugh?

This isn't about how I died on my deathbed

It's about how I got up, made it and left it

[Verse 2: Time]

The nurse ran in followed by the doctor

They tried to resuscitate but they said they lost him

Life's too fast my vitals started to crash

Immortality times zero you do the math

They said I had a fever temperature 451

No light in the tunnel just a laugh and a loaded gun

I see the undertaker digging he's one foot down

I'm napping in my casket, a future seed for the ground

Now I'm 2 feet deep, I'm seeing flashes of my life

My coffin's a cocoon I'm just a butterfly knife

3 feet now, give the gravedigger a hat trick

The doctor's doing CPR I'm back on the mattress

4 feet deep. I see the worms got their dinner plates

I'm see the highway to hell, there's a wreck on the interstate

One more foot, now he's down 5

He says death is how much of your dies while still alive

6 feet now I take my last breath

He says "Are you fighting for your life or fighting for your death?"

I push open the casket and wake up on the mattress

It was all theatrics, they were all actors

The doctor, the man, the nurse, they were all me

I was locked inside of my mind and their thoughts set them free

The undertaker, the shovel, the grave, they were all me

I was locked inside of my mind and my thoughts set me free
