Once upon a time

I was safe and flying high above the land

But then a storm rolled in

Ripped my wings and threw my dreams upon the sand

And I fell a thousand feet

And I cursed the sky because I didn't know

That sometimes rain is good

And it comes down like it should

And it makes the thirsty trees and flowers grow

There was nothing that I needed, not a thing

But then the soldiers fled

When the kingdom fell, the crown fell off my head

Sometimes things go wrong

And the road's a little long

And the rivers that we cross are far too wide

Sometimes change is good
