VERSE 1:

I'm not a false prophet

Just a dreamer with a vision

Got depression in my veins

But the reefer is a given

Wishing I could say hello to the reaper in the distance

If I played my shit on blast up on a speaker would he listen?

Would he ask to get a feature, or go deeper than the business?

Would he go deeper with the cleaver that he's tweaked since the beginning?

Would he say to not get eager when I'm meters from the finish?

Or just say he's on my side and nonbelievers will diminish?

I stand inches from the bridges set ablaze in resurgence

Let the inferno keep raging, I'll let your hatred keep burning

I'm just a kid on his own relieving the weight of his burdens

Because only father time will tell who makes it the furthest

I never aim to be perfect

Or feel ashamed for a serpent

That treats this game like a circus

And can't be saved from the purges when night falls

This visionary likes to slay with a purpose

The tables are turning

Reminding me of dreidel's, they twirling

HOOK:

The rain passes, the moon rises

I hear madness in true silence

Feel the mood crash when I'm too silent

The sun will add heat to this blue climate

You're not lost, you need new vices

This rock that we inhabit is a huge giant

I just sit here and produce diamonds

Pots and pans up in the kitchen, got the stew frying

VERSE 2:

It's a vibe when the kid is making art

I've always been the guy who sits and picks his brain apart

I might need another minute to depict these faded scars

But I can promise that I'll finish with a vintage case of bars

Fuck around and spark a blunt, make a quick escape to mars

Take a gaze at constellations so my inspiration sparks

The higher that I get, I see the limit ain't the stars

It's the place up in the sun with all the rich and famous stars

Keep on spitting great remarks

Cause I wish to make a mark

And make my own place in the sun when I got hits that make the charts

Till then I'm just a lost boy who isn't safe from harm

And I ain't here to be the martyr cause that image ain't to par

But all that I can say is that the kids weren't made to march

Were never made to bleed and suffer while the rich just play their part

Watch the numb remain asleep, and the sick remain at large

While my words revive the fallen who resist a change of heart

I sit and play with different wordings like the shit's a game of darts

When I hit the bullseye, that's when the twist of fate can start

I pray they try to imitate my charm

If that falls right into place, the eclipse will make it dark

Are you afraid of the dark?

VERSE 3:

I ain't afraid of the dark, cause I've been left in it a few times

Every verse is an attempt to get the mood right

Wish I knew why I see gray, not blue skies

Presumed fine, but the truth bites

Stuck in my ways, got drugs in my veins

On a run through a maze, in this dungeon of pain

There ain't much I can say, taking blunts to the face

To escape all the struggles that puzzle my brain

The rain keeps falling

The clock keeps ticking

The days keep coming

The odds keep shifting

But we got to keep swimming

Ain't no reason to give up

I be jotting these writtens

And finding peace in the rhythm of these keys and these kick drums

Income's irrelevant

Cause eloquently speaking, I want to feel like myself again

And when I'm in my element spitting shit from the soul

Reality ain't as cold and I mentally feel at home

Yeah, so I'm gonna flow and never refrain

Until the beat fades, avoiding cliche's

I do what I please, don't care what he say

My weed's dank, so I get high, and put life on freeze frame

No shame in trying to keep sane

Living in a bleak place

Addicted to the dream chase

When I see rain, I put my hoodie up and greet fate

Yeah, these days I don't want to exist

My stability is gone with the wind

And there's a bottomless pit

That's only filled up by the audiences

So let me know if you be rocking with this

Yeah, yeah

It's me and my nibbling conscience

I'm sick of the conflict

I'm gonna stick to the process

Till it's mission accomplished

I'm dauntless on the conquest

Even when shit gets complex

I hold up my hot head and never look down

There ain't shit left to say so I guess I should bounce
