Unfortunate Target

All I wanted

Was a peaceful life

But now I can feel

Eyes are watching me

I look in every allay

In every business window

For someone looking for me

But I never catch one

I want to tell myself

That I'm only paranoid

Why would I be a target?

I'm too young to be

Someone they'd go after

But as I tell myself

I hear footsteps behind me

I feel a lump in my throat

Too scared to turn around

I pick up my pace

And they get faster

So, I try to run

But they were quicker

And I feel thеm grab a hold of me

Covering my mouth with their glovеd hand

And I'm dragged into the darkness
