I spend so much time longing for

More time spent in a place I recognize

I know home never stays the same

Not for anyone

But once it’s gone it’s hard to find

Will they know what it was like

Will they know what it was like

Will they sense it from the walls and the floors

Will they know what it was like

Will they know what it was like

And will I?

Will I sense it, will it ever feel the same again?

It’s something I haven’t experienced yet

I havеn’t had the time to process this

At somе point I won’t be here again

We’re moving out

I’m moving upside down

Will they know what it was like

Will they know what it was like

Someday I’ll drive by

My memory fading

I’ll start to forget too what it was like

And I’ll think about the significance

Of the rooms I spend the most time in

At some point I won’t see them again

We’re moving out

I feel so upside down

In the spring we lose ground we never had in the first place

Now we’re picking up sounds telling us it’s a safe place
