Throw me a curtain to hide behind

Find me a shelter for these bones to lie

‘Cause I am a ghost of what used to be

Let me fall into the shadows and no-one will see

These names will pass and these ghosts will fade

These souls will last but dance in the shade

The lights will dim and the dark will glare

Let me sleep until the morning comes and wake with gentle flair

These maps will tell us where to go, these words cannot lie

Unless the monsters trick them though (then what we do is fly)

These boxes full of photographs are laid upon the floor

They let me know that good things last, like light in corridors
