Scratches line the halls

With fingers reduced to bone

The screams of the isolated echo the halls

Knowing they care not for your health

But for the procurement of wealth

Objected to inhumane experiments

The familiar stench of waste

And when the doctors come

They grin and have their fun

Sucking life from those they’ve easily undone

Crying out in protest

Shock treatments rampant

Crying out in protest

Plans develop in their much-affected minds

One is thinking of his father

The cruel and unkind monster

That condemned him to this place

Swearing one day, to make his escape

“I’m coming for you, to end your wretched life”

“I’m coming for you, to end your wretched life”

This institution has many flaws

Vents loose, unlike the steel doors

He kicks one in, and climbs on through

His desire will come true

Spiders trail his body

While Never paying mind to sting of venom

Feeling the outside air

For the first time in years

On his feet again, sprinting as far as he can

To return to his former home

And upon arrival, seeks out mortal justice

Putting an end to this torture

In that moment, his mother screaming

He knows the end has come

With his mind at ease and the venom flowing

Rests his body, eternally

Crying out in protest

Shock treatments rampant

Crying out in protest

Plans develop in their much-affected minds
