24 - Intellectual

[Intro]

I'll try to state some of what I've learned but

Can't say knowing bout the bridges burned yuh

I will say there's many things I've earned but

I'll try to say some of what I've learned yuh

People say "you're only 24"

Try to reiterate that life is pretty short

Find my way to run away just to lock the trap door

In my cave where I lay I'll just try to ignore

24, 24, look into my eyes am I yours, am I yours

24, 24, look into the sky I want more, I want more

If I had to tell someone what you should know at 24

Don't get stuck on what happened years ago you can't erase it it's done

Don't give into temptation just be patient you love someone

Have some fun, but don't act dumb, you need to know when it's enough

Watch what you consume or it consumes you you won't be untouched

And also your trauma doesn't make you

You can't depend on anyone to save you

It's your choice to remain tasteful

Walk around and do it while you're able

Even though you feel like life's a trap, and you try to deny the fact

You'll find a way to balance that so you can settle down and relax
