Yea, yea

Verse:

Meet James, he’s a 17-year-old boy from Canada

He’s alright now but he has weak stamina

He gets bullied at school in English and Algebra

A bit of a Brainiac but his mind is much further ahead

He has no friends at school, he’s all alone

His attitude has barely shown what’s happening at home

His family fightin’ and fussin’

He has to stay with his cousin

Cuz his dad wants a future for him but his mum doesn’t

So they’re getting a divorce

He’s got an internal force

Soon as he gets home he cries on the steps of his porch

They yеlling at each other inside, hе’s curious

He knows the conversation is serious

His conscience is delirious

He hears things but not really

He sees things but not clearly

His mind is becoming weary

Can grasp things but not nearly

He’s scared, the voices echo, the screams and shouts from his parents

Then the silence stops, the door slams, his dad storms out without interference

He heads straight for the car with the keys in one hand

The divorce papers in the other, stumbling and struggling to stand

He hops in, foot on the pedal, the tires screeching

He zooms out, James’ mind is steadily creeping

Is he coming back? Doesn’t he love me no more

He picks himself up, wipes his tears and heads for the front door

Um, can we talk to James Nash

His father has just been involved in a car crash

So now on top of the divorce and fighting, his dad has just died from an accident

And it all seems like every single bad event is happening

So not only has he just lost his only future support

But he lost his dad! Tell me, how is that not important

Of course it is, the divorce just seems like a bad dream

But his dad dying, going only 60k on Arch Street

This stupid punk pulled out in front of him, well more like rammed him from the side

And the car tumbled over and without a goodbye an innocent man died

His mum can’t afford the house no more, James is depressed

He feels like he has just been stabbed twice in the chest

With his own life shaped like a knife, he has no hope

And no way of dealing with it, no way to cope

And so he’s contemplating leaving his mum, he gives up grieving

There’s no purpose on this Earth, no point in breathing

Just do it, goodbye James, his head is pounding to his heartbeat

And then his heart stops for a second as he listens to his beat

Beat, beat! That’s it! The music I’ve been using

It’s confusing but it’s better than the path I was so convinced in choosing

See there’s a reason to live, you have no idea how many people care about you

And it’s not just James, its everyone so many people would be insane without you

And there is always help available, the only problem is the timing

If it’s too late you may not be able to save a person dying

And it can cause a chain reaction if you a child

You’d be surprised how many kids don’t know that their parents are suicidal

So just do what I do, you need to help it’s no joke

They get provoked and go off with the blades and cover it up with a coat

On the wrists, on the thighs and the – I’m not gonna say

Just believe it, thousands of these problems happen every day

But it can be reversed with music, like rapping and cyphers

And it continues until you finish your line or become rhymeless

James is Timeless…
