Kitchen Table

On Quirk Out

Down on the kitchen table

The cat is licking me

And giving me his tapeworms

I'm ditching the world of hygiene

Throwing away the soap before it's a sliver

I'm losing my kitchen temper

Crushing heads in frying pans

Lying to Mother

Burning her fat hands

I might ditch my Liberator

And run off with a fat

Impotent Dictator

Oh but outside in the bright nights

Lights flicker in hotel rooms

And suburban bedrooms

And mother is absent

Selling aids, blades, dollies

To incontinent wallies

On patio evenings

Whilst down in the City Square

Is the young Conservative

Who might save us all

Thе earth quivers

And oceans arе torn from their beds

Fish rise to the top

Of their aquariums in painful spasms

Squirming lungfish are gasping

In the Talbot ventilation shafts

Oh but outside in the bright nights

Lights flicker in hotel rooms

And suburban bedrooms

And mother is absent

Selling aids, blades, dollies

To incontinent wallies

On patio evenings

WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAH...
