We have always walked this path

From our birth we knew the light

I was raised knowing I′d balance faith and might

Not once now have I doubted

And not once have I left your sight

I feel your strength always by me, guiding my fights

Oh, I am but a voice of the choir

Singing a hymn that will decry their heresy

So wash me in fire, let me be the pyre

The purging flame that cleanses the world anew

So, pause your shaking hands

Hold your doubtful thoughts

When faith is placed in something bigger than us

No longer a cog, no one is but a part

United as a whole, to sustain his wrath

We shall not forget the place from once we came

Blinded by the false-light and walked on paths astray

In the "Reign of Blood" where our hearts, our goals, were maimed

Unto the grace of the saint, when Vandire was slain

Now we are warring for the faith

Spreading light throughout the dark

To the outsiders we provide our burning grace

Though the others fear the flame

I will cherish its embrace

I will take the pain in stride when our resolve collides

As these monsters defile our homes

We clutch tightly, hallowed tomes

Then descend to turn their worlds to catacombs

Despite the falls that we incur

The scattered few who doubt the words

We gather rage and swear our oaths, we'll cull their herds

So as the sisters who came before me

I vow to cleanse the lands of those

Who′s thoughts become a haunt for the cold

This shall be known

By the break of the night

We will have repaid the slight

The impure walk through every hall

But I am closer now

Before arrogance's might

We counterbalance the blight

And smite with all our fury

Embody rain for this drought

Let only faith leave your mouth

For all dissent is only senseless, we avow

And where our spirits are called

We will descend as a fold

A family, unified by his all-reaching soul

I sit in study, contemplate every ancient verse

Through our conviction we may free the impure of their curse

And when the order comes I'll feel no hesitation

The loving warmth of the torch

Shall serve as their damnation
