Time is something

On Feel Nothing

A mile in a minute

Thought I wouldn’t crash

Thought I knew myself

Always hoped I’d last

Stopped me in my tracks

Now what’s left is ash

He thought he knew himself

Sheltered by the past

Now looking back

Looking at the past

Notions he lacked

Feelings that pass

Emotions he harassed

Thoughts they amass

Feelings they contrast

Lesson learned at last

Like rushing water

Yeah, I can’t stand it

From every corner

Yeah, you can’t quit

And wind keeps blowing

And wheels keep rolling

And waves keep crashing

And time keeps clocking

And though rain keeps falling

My feet keep walking

To the place I’m going, to the place I’m going

Like rushing water

Yeah, I can’t stand it

From every corner

Yeah, you can’t quit

What’s light without the darks?

What’s hills without the valleys?

No flame without the spark

No change without the rallies

Time will take it through

No rush, no need to hurry

New start, something new

In time, change is blurry

What’s light without the dark? (and wind keeps blowing)

What’s hills without the valleys? (and wheels keep rolling)

No flame without the spark (and waves keep crashing)

No change without the rallies (and time keeps clocking)

Time will take it through (and wind keeps blowing)

No rush, no need to hurry (and wheels keep rolling)

New start, something new (and waves keep crashing)

In time, change is blurry (and time keeps clocking)
