When your throat is feeling scratchy and your nose begins to run

Your sinuses are stuffy which is never any fun

When your temperature is rising, but your energy is low

It's sad to say you've got yourself a cold

You cough a lot, you sniff a lot, you spray with every sneeze

You're sleepy but the mucus makes it hard to get your "Z"s

You use about a million zillion tissues when you're sick

And the gunk you blow is gooey, green, and thick

(Ooh, ick!)

First you get a little sniffle

Then you know you're in a pickle

'Cause a nasty cold is coming

Dripping in your nasal plumbing

Soon your breath is tough and wheezy;

Even talking isn't easy!

You got that achy feeling

Wow, a cold is unappealing!

From the dripping and the wiping, now your nose is sore and red

Since you can't go out to play you spend your boring days in bed

But if you drink your liquids and you take your time to rest

You'll get better every day until you're soon back at your best!
