Hello

I've become so numb that my ribs are no longer bruised from the erratic beating of my heart

And I've been feeling the need to let you know that my blood has become thin enough for the rain to dilute the poison

And I've been shedding my skin to escape the notion that you felt to attract me

But there's only so many layers that I can peel back

And my limbs have grown limp

So the usless struggle to fight the quicksand only makes things worse

Knowing that I am forever immobile
