[Verse 1]

I woke up this morning with strange echoes

Of fizzing solar systems drifting through my mind

Underwater plateau's of unimaginable beauty

Shimmering my minds eye, an airborne flow almost as if orchestrated

[Verse 2]

Strange creatures telepathic to my every emotion, chatter together

A muse that my inquisitiveness to their pulsating domain

Colors of light never before seen in any known spectrum

Cascade indifferent, happy in their flight, and finding joy in their speed

[Verse 3]

Soft sounds unique in their beauty, laugh at my mood, irresistible

Seemingly emanating from alien beat made sirens

Slowly I become welcome in this strange valley

And the mysteries of man and time emerge before me, obvious in their simplicity

[Verse 4]

My ego shatters into thousands of tiny silver slithers

Meet me, and the dividing kaleidoscope of indescribable colors and tones, gloriously uncomplicated

Time seeks stretched out almost immeasurably

Till it seems to have stopped, and then a random movement from one of my fellow travelers gives me a measure of its relativity till next time it flies to its dark phase

[Refrain]

Oh Augustus Owsley Stanley, where are you now?

Owsley, can you hear me?

Owsley, where are you now?

Where are you now?
