[Verse 1]

Our father

Try to pray for peace but every day is gettin harder

Can’t even scroll my phone without somebody gettin slaughtered

And even with our cameras up no charges gettin brought up

They body slammed our daughters and they execute our fathers

Make us pray for peace because of what the pastor taught us

Never trust they police cus of what the past has taught us

They lawless and they heartless

They evil and they godless

Cause this holy war regardless

And It’s evident I’m militant that don’t mean I’m violent

Contrary to your rights it ain’t right to remain silent

Not when all our kids are dyin

Somebody gotta fight to protect what’s right

So I'm faced with violence

Fight is what you do to protect your life

And I can’t keep quiet

We can't keep on marchin to rallies and have another riot

Tryna boycott but muthafuckas are still buying

The bullets are still flyin

And nggas are still dyin

And people are still [?]

[Verse 2]

Military mind state organize the village

Respect protect our women form a circle round our childrens

Elders at the center we rely upon they wisdoms

Guidance and they council show them honor while they livin

Brother can't do much from in the grave or in the prison

A ngga think he free and really slave to them systems

Victor or villain, I refuse to play the victim

See my sister ain't no bitch, my brothers ain’t no ngga

First we edify the language then unify the gangs

Set aside our differences we bangin for the same things

It’s ghetto scriptures, recorded it in slang

Then I put it in the music so I put it in your brain

Yeah I teach him how to use it

Yeah I show him where to aim

Yeah I pull him to the side

Yeah I put him up on game

We give him food for thought and let it stimulate the brain

We could build a nation up, tear a devil out the frame, bang

[Verse 3]

Can’t you see that we under attack

They shootin us in our backs

No [?] of the [?] part of San Francisco just taught us that

We can’t run forever cus Walter Scott had just taught us that

Hands up, I can't breathe look how they choke that man

Our black life is worth more than a hashtag

And more than a picket sign we livin in wicked times

We can’t call the cops when the cops when the cops committing crime

No indictment for they killers tell ‘em that we done

[Verse 4]

Riots and rallies ain't shit

The iceberg is always bigger than the tip, trip

Found guilty by a jury of six, bitches

A damn man take the stand as his own witness

This is the America I live in

The criminals roam free and the victims go to prison

But we was born in prison been livin in poor conditions so

Death is the sentence your skin is your conviction

I realize this is the trial we ain't winnin

I realize we alive we ain't livin

We spend a lifetime tryna fix a broken system

On our knees praying, beggin, hopin and wishing

Please, I ain't signing no petitions

I take a new position tryna break a broken system

Until it's broken it won't work for nobody

If it don’t work for everybody

Can't work for anybody

So save the panther party

Fred Hampton, Dr. King, Malcolm X, Marcus Garvey

And your's truly

Screamin 50 [slugs?] for moody people love is our duty

We got to have unity

Fortify the families and build stronger communities

Educate our children afford ‘em with opportunity

Show 'em how to love black before they reach puberty

Cus knowledge of self give them immunities

[Audio: Cat Brooks]

My name is Cat Brooks, I’m the co-founder of the anti-police terror project and I'm a member of the black power network. And I'm actually based in Oakland but here supporting San Francisco

After [Mario?] was murdered. Mur-dered. Executed in broad daylight in your city

I ask myself how long

How long is it gonna take for the chief to come out and tell the community that we didn’t see what we thought we saw in that video?

How long was it gonna take for the police to come out and tell us we didn’t understand the circumstances surrounding that murder? Because that's the take

That's what happens every time, we see what happens and then you trot yourself out and tell us we’re not intelligent enough to understand that we saw a black man gunned down, execution-style in broad daylight in the streets of San Francisco

And somehow you think that talking to us like we are children who have not been examining, watching, studying you and your system for hundreds of years as we figure out how to tear it down, push back, and eventually win as you continue to talk to us like children what you are doing is inciting the rage of the people

And I wanna be clear with you all that a new day has come

To San Francisco, to Oakland, to Baltimore, to Ferguson, to Atlanta there is a movement sweeping this country and we are not going to stop until you stop killing us

Until you stop killing us we will continue to shut it down

Interrupt your business as usual

We’re gonna take to the streets

We’re gonna interrupt your election cycle

And I have news for you, chief sir

We are going to shut it down until you resign or until all of you get the courage to fire him

And Oakland will be here every time

We bring the [ether?]
