To be honest I don't recall many words you said to me

When I was wearing Wednesday posed upon the balcony

There was lust and apprehension and a desire to impress

And a sense of slow revealing like a vulnerable undress

I never claimed to be an expert but you'd know I'd put in work

Now there's talk of making movies and such capacity for hurt

Hurt

What's to be done about the way I'm lost inside those smile lines

Am I just a fool for all things sentiment

Why can't I articulate the ways that you are mine?

Oh Wonderbear I hope my affections evident

We're a team lover dear and I fall asleep with you

That space between those shoulder blades

A crying scene ensues

Divergent ideas, same hands, and same place to keep our hearts

Taking all the silly people on

Surrender to the messy parts

What's to be done about the way I'm lost inside those smile lines

Am I just a fool for all things sentiment

Why can't I articulate the ways that you are mine?

Oh Wonderbear I hope my affections evident

We got our bunker in the mountains

The babes are all grown too

Our bodies withered frail and wise

From years of overuse

King of Comfort Queen of Tense

Belly laughs and time well spent

Support and unconditions

How the reign of two goofs went
