[Verse 1:SOC]

Yeah - Remember when I ‘s just a little tad pole

Didn’t' take long - now I’m a tad old

And learned God will give us everything we ask for

In His will until our earthly eyes close

While they wonder if the cup is half empty or it’s half full

I realize it runneth over and I’m glad so

I make the most of every second – no fast forward

Psalm 119, Guess I’m in that Lamp mode

Remember them days, I used to chrome the rims

Now I don’t mind the walk just to show He lives

In this play of life / yeah He wrote the script

But this life ain’t all comfy like your sofa is

Same way that dark and light it can’t co-exist

We need a lifeline - more than a phone a friend

Game over – don’t put another token

Victory from the start – He told us this

[Hook:Marlon Van]

I got to keep my head up, I think it’s time to get up

Given all that I have, I’m holding nothing back

I just want to let You know, that my heart longs for You

So I keep pushing closer to You

[Verse 2:SOC]

It’s black and white - like a referee

We all God’s children - no pedigrees

Since He bore cross, instead of me

Undeserved substitution, it has set me free

Crucify the flesh – so I rest in peace

All vanity – chasing fleshly things

Mixed up in foolishness – wrong recipe

We got to recognize He’s in every breath we breathe

Please believe He rose – incredibly

Ascended to the right hand – definitely

Still they paper chase - saying let me be

Yeah - too focused on that celery

Bank account and it revenue won’t help you

Only whose lordship that you fell to

Bottom line – ain’t no time to lose

We don’t control time but it’s ‘bout the time we choose
