[Verse 1]

Moving with intention

Moving through dimensions

Spend the day on the couch, that's a living room adventure

Another day in the basement, fueling up the engine

Make the wheel zoom, moving to a new direction

Tensions high when I am tested by

The hands are fake mixed with the test of time

And these hands might break without a change of pace

We are so grateful but never satisfied

Now this one dark corner where I make my beats

Are within the same four walls within where I sleep

And the same four walls are hitting mentally

Like there’s way too much to rinse and repeat

It's getting to me

It's hard to oppose, I’m scared to plateau (Nah)

The passion is high, but the spirit is low

I really don't know what the future has in store

Keep my head down, see how the cards will unfold

[Verse 2]

While everybody racing, chasin' placements

I'm here building a foundation, strong as pavement

And to everybody hatin', take a place and

Watch me cop a couple plagues in my momma's basement

Watch it rain down awards in accolades

Sustain, I'm not a passing face

Watch me captivate the fans as they all stand in spades

But we'll save for a later day

Lets just focus on the task today

Focus on the concrete, the asphalt, the bedrock

The basement, that started with a piano and a desktop

The memories or melodies that always made my head bop

Along with the grooves that were tighter than a headlock

The feeling will never fade so the passion will never drown

From headphones to friend’s ears to headlines and bigger crowds

But at the moment the basement calls to me now

Cuz no one ever struck oil while they was up in the clouds

[Outro]

Oohhh, oh-oh-oohhh

Oohhh, oh-oh-oohhh
