Well I’m feeling fine

Doing what I do each day to kill the time

Trying hard to toe the line

But monotony makes each day intertwine

Listless dreams

Fevered pitch

Nothing to

Scratch the itch

Dead-eyed stares

Predecease

Living in

Restless peace

No light

No strength

Buckle

No time to uncouple

How can I understand

Being far away from land?

When my roots are buried deep

In a static restless sleep

I’ll come back

Well I’m feeling fine

Doing what I do each day to kill the time

Trying hard to toe the line

But monotony makes each day intertwine

Flashing light

Textures bleed

Corrosive

Apathy

Calling names

In my sleep

Pointless gifts

Mine to keep

Brought back just to suffer

Break down the last buffer

In the palace of the mind

Where the walls constrict and bind

And the floor starts seeping in

To the blisters on my skin

Where the shadows of the past

Are the only thing to last

There comes a time to say

That everything’s okay

I’m okay

I’m okay

I’m okay

Well I’m feeling fine

Doing what I do each day to kill the time

When it’s running down my spine

Almost feels like a familiar design
