The numbers are everywhere, I’ve seen them

I’ve seen what they’re capable of

How they tie things together

Bind the body to the headboard

I’ll do it. I’ll bite through the rope

I’ll talk about the woods

I’ll shuffle the deck and watch the sun come up

One day it’ll happen, I can feel it

But for now, we’ll wait

We’ll put the books back together

We’ll watch the purple martens put the clouds to shame

And we’ll learn how to let them
