Gazing upon the sea

The grains of sand move

Restless

Beneath my feet

A somber silence falls

Upon the waves

As my reflection starts to fade

I’m standing with nothing left

Wading in a sea of emptiness

Stars realign until the end of time

She will perish in the light

Shattered and scarred

She slowly falls apart

As the stars fell down

Like every streak of fire

Seeks to remove her crown

Her veins spilled open

Torn into the sea

Once so beautiful

Her cries rang out across the breeze

Mother Nature

Brought down to her knees

Standing with nothing left

Showing beauty in the desolate
