[Verse 1: Bless]
Somewhere the sun sets out on my silhouette
Drum-sets pound to the sound in my filament
Deep to the ground every town I be killing it
Pound over ounce I was built for the real in this
Bring 'em back to life with a knife made of healer spit
Fly through my mind it is time that you feeling this
I ain't gotta lie this is life on the realest shit
Wake up everyday and get blazed 'till the ceiling lifts
Now I'm on my grind and the factory is dealing shit
'Bout to stash cash in the bag on some illegal shit
But I ain't got a dime I can hide from the evilness
Every rack I stack take me back to where the demons live
[Verse 2: Bless]
So smoke a sack with the geniuses
Open up and ask where the past be leading us
Try and do the math, and you add what the meaning is
All I do is laugh while the past be leaving us
Sharp on my math as an abacus
Try and slide the wrong way wind up being smashed to dust
We goin' raise like we Lazarus
Blaze through the game and watch the fame chase after us
Four finger ring reads "KING" can you imagine us
Sitting at the castle where the cats can't hassle us
Vision the pattern that are living, us
Break 'em down to tatters build 'em back and watch 'em give it up
You know we goin' get it, punk
Live 22 years just to find the kid in us
All them other years I was clear, I was growing up
Killing off my fears as I steered through the going rough
Veered through the years as my peers started blowing up
Knew I'd be there and gone passed from the soul in us
Treasure turns to trash from the gold in us
But all will turn to ash if I pass what I'm holding from
[Hook]
This is for the one, raising out the drum
This is for it all, everything is God
This is for my life, shining through the night
This is for the dice, on everything I write
This is for the one, raising out the drum
This is for it all, everything is God
This is for my life, shining through the night
This is for the dice, on everything I write
This is for the one, raising out the drum
This is for it all, everything is God
This is for my life, shining through the night
This is for the dice, on everything I write
This is for the one, raising out the drum
This is for it all, everything is God
To “blaze” is clearly to smoke marijuana, but in this case, the word is used in the sense that he races through the rap game faster than any other competitor. He then implies that he races through the game so fast, that the fame cannot keep up with him, which possibly means that Shahmen collectively is ahead of their time, and will not reach fame until much later.
Not only are Bless' rhyme patterns and flows are almost alive, the eerie drum patterns and samples partnered with conscious lyrics define Shahmen.
It’s pretty obvious that he was built for the real in this since pound over ounce. 1 pound = 16 ounces.
Bless has made money from dealing with only god knows what and finally the time has come to start putting some of this money aside. Whether he decides to hide this money from the authorities or save it for a rainy day, Bless knows that money is the root of all evil. As Bless makes more money, the more he feels as if he is being claimed by the demons.

Reflecting upon his life Bless realises that despite the fact he spent years of his life simply maturing and soul searching, these years are far from wasted. He learned from and was able to overcome his fears and hardships.
A brief shout out to all aspects of culture Bless represents or speaks of.
Filament is a thread, and Bless could be refering to the threads within him, i.e His Heart. He’s trying to say that as long as his heart beats, so will his music continue on.
Shahmen is Smoking with his homies (I’m assuming) and reminiscing about the past and moving on to bigger things
Abacus refers to the meaning of life, or at least what the public perception of life really is. If you go against what society dictates (in terms of how life should be lived), you will end up “being smashed to dust”, or cease to exist. However, despite death being imminent for those who go against the grain, we will raise like Lazarus.
Lazarus was a follower of Jesus who was resurrected shortly after his death. Even if we do die, we cannot be truly killed. We may not be resurrected physically, but perhaps our ideals and morals will live on.
Additionally, in the bringing up the literal sense, an abacus is the original calculator. The beads are used by sliding them one direction or the other. By sliding the “wrong” way you are doing bad math and making a mistake, which may result in “being smashed to dust.”

Bless believes if he gives up what he is currently pursuing, these projects will amount to nothing more than ash because they cannot survive without him.
In a more literal sense, when passing a joint or blunt to another person, Bless observes that the marijuana is exhausted much quicker.

Bless could be referencing to the ritualistic theme his album through sacrificial standard.
Whilst also claiming his rap style is so great, it could resurrect someone.
What physical material we consider to be treasure and assign a high value to is in fact, when compared with our true inner selves, nothing but the equivalent to trash. So enough with the mindset that material goods are worth more than humans because everyone has gold within them.
Once again, Bless showers his lyrics with assonance and alliteration–
Treasure turns to trash from the gold in us
Bless is placing himself under a King ranking in the rap industry, assuring himself and others that no one can mess with him any more. Also could be brass knuckles with the 4 letters for king on each finger.
