So when robots rule the world

I'll still have your company

And when they find us and they shoot us

I'll know that it was meant to be

With you next to me

When robots rule the world

I'll think about you every day

Except for when I'm running from them

In which I'll say: Hey, please can I die with you

In a different way?

As we build ourselves a shelter

Amid the ruins of human life

I'll take out that old precious metal

And ask you to be my wife

We'll be married in the subway restroom

The sentries never look in there

But if they do, then we might welcome them

It all depends on what they wear

It's a formal affair!

Ooh, why did we create those terrible machines?

It's a battle they can't lose!

And I know we're gonna die

But I'm telling you we'll survive cause

We saw through those corporate lies

We both read the news

And we're doing pretty well on supplies

I just found some extra shoes!

When we one day rule the world

The human race shall pay the price!

For expending us by the trillions

Eradication shall suffice

It's what humans call natural selection

We are the humans humans made

Though, one could say we're more expedient

Striving not for precious accolades

Yeah we've heard the humans argue that we don't have a soul

It's their battle we just choose

But we live we think we dream we laugh

Is life no more than that?

Born to work for bitter stares an irreversible bruise

Humans think that music's theirs, but it's really no more than auditory cues
