Living cautiously like similes not written in a song yet

Denial of identity and living as the wrong sex

Create our own problems

Imprisoned in our concepts

Seeking order, teaching laws, religion is the wrong step

And mom's vexed

At least the memories occur

But independent living at just seventeen's absurd

Have a relationship with God although I;ve never seen a verse

But it's stuck on life-support, I'm thinking 'let him dream, he's cursed'

Two tramps, bruised hands, fighting over food stamps

And you complain about your life and wonder why you ain't a true man?

Noose hangs, end-result just might release a new man

There's a solution for the losers saying life is 'too bland'

Now it's nine a.m but the eleventh minute sticks

Terrorism's definite but heaven is a myth

The devil is a rebel screaming 'step into the ditch'

He keeps on pedalling and pedalling the pedals in the pit, and life and death are entwined

And hope is just loud

But tell me what will happen when the both are took down

The purest of all muds still makes an ogre look wild

Beneath the darkness and the hatred's just an overlooked child

And we're seeking a release to that army of feelings

That's why rebellion is partly appealing

Take off the jewels, take off the shoes, take off the cardigan even

Come let's recreate the Garden of Eden

Can't anyone else see the noose on your necks? That lil old ring, that trill gold bling

Add gold, add diamond to the front of the name, but they're still called chains

I met the devil last night

He said maybe I don't wanna be the bad guy...

I met the devil last night..

I..I met the devil

He said maybe I don't want to be the bad guy..

I met the devil last night

I met the..

And happiness is -

Wait! Leave him alone!

Black guy hitting on a white and he's beat to the bone

Life fleeing from his eyes as his blood begins to drain

I just watch as he stamps away the colour in his face

I return to my thoughts, I'm thinking 'Why, Jesus?'

Then time freezes, body motionless, my eyes leave it

Now I'm hovering

Think they call it omniscience

My eyes cover him, discovering, something fucking bothering

I'm in this dreamlike state

But what I see is clear

Expecting hatred in his eyes but all I see is fear

Then he spoke to me

His voice like poetry

Questionable actions but his words were like the glowing sea

I asked him why he's doing what he's doing

He replies

'I'm just conforming to my essence'

Didn't understand

So i was nauseous for a second

But then I realised that maybe there was more to his confession

Maybe favourable identity is more than just a blessing

What you sposed to do when darkness says you're born to be a menace

Then time continues again

And his frown is now a grin

His eyes turn to me

And I am now about to sprint..

I met the devil last night..

(it may be bad to be infamous, it's worse to be unknown

Would you rather be hunted or eternally alone?
