We all say the same things over and over and over and over

But we won’t change the same things doing the same things over and over

We’ve got a problem you might know that and you might show that

It’s not the first time that this problem has resurfaced and not drowned out

We live in a society divided by oh so many things

Economic stability or our political views on the world

The oppression of people down to racial segregation

The past the present the future in every nation it goes on

Systemic nature is a never ending loop

Isolated societies unable to break free

But I doubt it affects you it’s not a problem that you face

No matter your colour or where you’re from in human race

‘Cause we’re from the middle no far left far right far wrong

We don’t seem to get it and if we get it we move on

It’s our social nature we try implementing change

But the flock turns its back when the media goes away

Just think about the message that you, that you all reflect

Guided by thos public figures that all your friends accept

But you’re on your own now why can’t you make your own stand

How not why not or do you need a helping hand

I hear your voice you’ve got a choice that you allege

All ‘cause you can from your white middle class your privilege

Yet all we do is we just take the easy way

We see unrest and we just tap a paper plane

We all say the same things

Over and over and over

But we won’t change the same things

Doing the same things over and over

With our paper planes

Paper planes we rely on

Paper planes won’t change the world

Paper planes we rely on

Paper planes won’t change the world

We all say the same things

Over and over and over

But we won’t change the same things

Doing the same things over and over

With our paper planes
