We live in a world where everything is fast paced

Struggling just to keep a smile on my face

When I look back I wonder how I made it

I laugh a lot but sometimes I faked it

Many times I tried to take my life cause I could not take it

Alone in a dark corner with no one around

Had a lot of negative people pulling me down

Countless nights spent crying

While I was really lying

To my family and friends

Trying to cover up all the pain

But through it all

Jesus Christ kept me sane

2 seizures in a row still not depressed

Took the wheel away for 6 months but I’m blessed

Cause what enemy tried didn’t work again

The Lord’s working on another testimony friend

I gotta live to tell this story so he’s glorified/

To show the world that its better on the Holy side

I’m a man but daily gotta kill the pride

That leads to a place where the wicked will reside

Walking down the narrow path but I will survive

Jesus is the breath of life so I stay alive

Even though it hurts it will never kill the vibe

That the Holy Ghost embedded deep on the inside

Lack is a fail, sickness is a fail

Worry go back to the pits of hell

There’s hope in the Lord, on the cross he was nailed

So the struggle we endure will lead us to his trail

Down the narrow path, difficult but leads to life

Destiny fulfilled is difficult but leads you right

Never worried bout the future cause it very bright

Plugged in to the power source who brings the guiding light

Yes it’s a war so you know we gotta fight

Instead of throwing hands I command God’s might

To go before me in the battle so I can’t lose

No weapon prospers even if I get a bruise

I might be down never out, man I won’t stop

Trusting in what I don’t see when God’s on top

In the enemy’s battlefield I’m still the favorite

I survive in this world now cause God made it
