Utopia

I’m looking up above my head, behind the trees, the sky and the stars

And I see million years ahead, no planes, no trains, no cars

Is this a new constellation, maybe a trick of my imagination

I see no anger, I see no pain, just silence singing in vain

Hello bright infinite lines, endless colourful symphonies

Goodbye bricks and deadly mines, sarcasm, power, colonies

This is the end of all destruction, the empty dreams and the masturbation

This is the place of all our dreams, or at the least that’s what it seems

Utopia, Utopia

I had I it all under control, I had a body and I had a soul

A mind full of melodies, a garden with tears in the trees

One day I just had to come back, I packed some faith in my backpack

I ran through the corridors, looking for the earth’s coloured door

Oh God I should’ve stayed away, now they’re forcing me to stay

With their resurrection, medication, never ending superstition

My eyes shiver, I fall deeper, until I reach out to the sky

And as I fall back into coma, I hear the songs of my Utopia
