Loud sounds coming from cars

Empty streets with no memories

Warm pavements, please, come take a seat

I miss the smell of pollution

The sound of construction

The spit on the streets

The underground where everyone lives

I want to go back to the dead end of a life I had

I miss my family. I miss my cat

I took a year off (out of love)

And lived like a king

Romania's my home, but I don't belong there

Its a fairytale of a story, a never-ending tale of suffering

Same streets, same voices

Bucharest

Goodbye Bucharest

Toxic filth

Toxic waste

Hate within hate

Love within hate

Brought down to their knees begging for a change that any righteous being deserves to get

And yet

Accustomed to society we demand justice which is served only to those who will come next

But how will we know

When the future is upheld from us

The past is a rubble in a dust

Goodbye Bucharest

You broke my heart and gave me scars

You taught me how to drive and how to cry

You saved me once and left me twice

Fuck you, Bucharest

A city of vices

A city of dreams

City of failures

City of old reunions, of everywhere people

Of first loves

I'm sorry, Bucharest

I'll be back

Promise?

It won't be long

No, it won't be long
