Recently I been introspective

I'm spending time inside my mind, I'm just tryna dissect it

I used to polish all my lyrics 'till I saw reflection

But nowadays I gotta double check all my intentions

And I just want to be accepted than as only human

It's like a drug inside my brain when I see numbers movin'

I think I got a glimpse of fame it became my consumin'

And it became more about the buzz and less about the music

I said, "this used to be a haven when my mind was hectic"

And now it's more about the flexin' and less about the message

And now it's more like something catchy, less like something real

It turn the more massive pill than how I really feel

But yeah, I guess that's how it works when it's about your livin'

When you supply all the demand you gotta make decisions

And I been holding on my soul, questioning what it's worth

Because this music been the reason that I'm on this earth
