[Verse 1]

Leave him to gather dust and crumble away

He will be food for the months and a waste of space

He knows there other ways to see the world

But this was his point of view as the curse unfurled

[Chorus]

Look to the past; it was a different shade

Moving too fast, beheaded the arrows and lost his way

[Verse 2]

Just do your best to ignore the hurt and pain

Ponder the wonder beyond all the dirt and grey

Leave him to to gather dust and crumble away

He will be food for the months and he'll waste all of his time

Looking at text and tasting the pigment

He'd love to forget and live for the figment of his imagination

[Chorus]

Look to the past; it was a different shade

Moving too fast, beheaded the arrows and lost his way
