Standing stuck at a crossroads

Trying to move, but your feet froze

Lying beneath are the bones of those

Who never chose to go, you know I know

And with luck there'll be no crying

Though I'm not denying

The unlikeliness, it's likely this will end up slightly

Better than before

There's still growth within a void

But the toxins you've deployed in a ploy to avoid the truth

Will so coyly destroy your joy and youth
