[Verse: Requiem]

Stuck in a four cornered room with paint that’s waterproof

Huffin’ ether, starving with a distorted view

The raw askew, the more I snort and chew

Surrealist, part of a sordid crew

Sort of knew what I was doing but in a manic state

Out for fame so I don’t die with a vanished name

Panic paint like Pollock with splatter on canvas

Art or farce? It doesn’t matter I answer

Flash back to days of old creating depictions of kings

Realist replicating lords who glisten with rings

Started with early man putting ochre on cave wall

Now we shootin’ up billboards in cities with paintball

Ain’t all good, but it’s a matter of taste

Year long projects to throwies put up in haste

Waste nothing, charcoal to oils we paint

Art today from the beginning of age
