I am learning why, i should smile instead of cry

Cos i have realised, humility trumps ego and pride

I worked it out, a cynical shoe fits best for me

Removed all doubt, put others motives on display

If it works well then let it be, whatever helps drive me to succeed

But narcisistic tendancies, spawn a life of lone hypocricy

Time cannot lie, the past consolidates your pride

And i have come to find, the self is selfish by design

Spoke to my shadow, to see whats in store for me

Displayed my fears, within complacency

I'll try to be better at, mediating things i do

In an attempt to transcend, and become forty six & 2
