During her Clash interview, it was stated that Raveena implemented spirituality in her life and is on the centre of meditation and mindfulness.
People who practices mindfulness tend to feel more mindful/present, grateful and enjoy even the simplest little good things that happen in their life and focus on others too.
She noticed her partner’s clothes blemished with fruit stains, specifically mango stains. As she also noticed that in between her partner’s teeth, there were some mango stuck in between. This shows that she feels more present and observant when she’s spending time together with her partner.
Raveena was brought up in a traditional Sikh household by Sikh-practicing, Punjabi parents. Her parents are thus religious.
Here, she mentions her mother, reciting a clear morning prayer. Some Sikh prayers recited in the morning are Japji Sahib, Jaap Sahib & Tav-Prasad Savaiye(the Ten Sawayyas). He had also referred her mother in seventh track, “Mama”. In “Mama” music video, it was shown that Raveena, her mother and grandmother praying in the gurdwara.
The last two lines of the the first verse gives a spiritual component that highlights the strong relationship and gratitude she feels from her partner.
The “First ray of the morning” could mean the sunrise of a new day. Raveena and her partner is viewing the beautiful warm sun and it’s growing rays and it is thus another simple thing that she enjoys with her partner.
All these simple ordinary things such as the fruit stains on one’s clothes, mango stuck in between one’s teeth and the gazing at morning sunrise, symbolizes that these “little things” tend to be more special and big when shared with a loved one.
The outro highlights the unwillingness of their love to be stopped. As the repetition of “Don’t come down” shows the wish for the happy and lovely moment spent last forever. She wants to keep on “floating” with her partner and avoid sinking down to the harsh world reality.
