Sitting, waiting, contemplating

Wondering  what I'm supposed to do

With  all the time I have to kill

I'm sure you feel the same way too

So if you're far or if you're near

Whatever  zone or hemisphere

It  doesn't matter where you are

We share the same great yellow star

I'm  counting stars and counting sheep

I'm half awake and half asleep

And wondering when the morning will come

To wake me up and stop and stay

A  while, then I'll call it a day

But first I'm gonna stare into the sun

This blue dot keeps on turning

Spinning silently in space

Regardless of the things we do

Regardless of our restless pace

So if you're far or if you're near
