Summer falls just the same

Even when I forget its name

I can count, uncountless birds

To leave without saying a word

If I could speak to either one

I'd make sure they knew what they had done

I’d past the guilt I put on me

To die in leaves and winter springs

Take an hour off the day that makes sure

You can feel a change

The difference that I've unlearned

We come back 'round to where we were

Cycle spin

Back again

I can’t breathe

'Gainst where I've been

Most of them try to be prepared

They won't be cold and won't feel scared

They spare themselves of shivering

By always bowing to the wind

And time keeps spinning like before

A single motion, never more

Until the lines turns to a shape

No edges breaks, no escape

Join the circle, spin their feet around the canon bare

I figure we'll still meet once a year

If I don't know at all

If not for real, in my mind

I still remember every part of every month

Like branches on a tree, dressed in the same bark

Cycle spin

Back again

I can't breathe

’Gainst where I’ve been

Wipe the grin

You're not listenin’
