I have been living

Has it been hard?

Just like the pillaged land

It's easier to be ignored

Can I call it living, the fear that drives us all?

But they've been killing me long before I could do anything wrong

The water grows

Deeper, just like

Hatred blows

Across the way

And I've been not just lonely here

I've been an island by the icy shore, hardened by the fear

Of whole women, only

They don't get too far

Cause not to question

Or else be cast aside

What else can they take from me

Beyond my pride?

I was told to answer for my sin

How much did I give? More than I've taken

Haven't I been the one to blame

All this time?

Is it my nature to lose control?

There's not willing to stray behind

Burn the magic out, disgrace me

I would rather die than stay confined
