Burst alight, come alive

Dark as night until it's blinding bright

Falling down, hit the ground

Whispered horror is the only sound

Open eyes, open wide

Panicked faces, a gasp, a cry

Oh...

You don't even have to say

I can see it in your face

The terror, you're frozen in your place

'Till you finally take a breath

Call us "monster," shield your head

And flee from the dark from whence we leapt

Wandering in heartache all alone

Only each other to call home

Humming a melancholy song

Singing of somewherе to belong

Now all the lonelinеss has cleared

We can belong now that we're here

We join together in our song

Longing for freedom far beyond

From the bedrock and the dust

Came the others, just like us

Through darkness we celebrate, because

Though in hiding all our lives

Through our trouble and our strife

This bond never breaks, we hold on tight

It's a blessing and a curse

Here for better or for worse

Protecting our fellow gems comes first

Stand together, we are strong

Raise our broken voice in song

For once, maybe we won't feel so wrong

Block the light, try to hide

In the shadows, we are safe inside

Mask the fear, hide your tears

Try your best to find a purpose here

Stay alive, peace we'll find

Trapped of body, but free of mind

Oh...

One for all and all for one

Stand together 'till we're done

And dream of the day we see the sun

When we step into the light

And we fly out of the night

This burden upon us is not right
