From a puff, through the clouds hazy and smoky

I arrived wondering who I am Why they chose me

Tricks galore, give 'em more, knock 'em out lively

Do it up, got the magic touch

But someone somewhere deep inside my psyche calls my bluff

A voice repeating "you are not enough"

I know there's much to learn

I am unseasoned, I am small

And though I'm both of them

Neither have learned that much at all

About their inner worth

That they are more than they've become

So I get twice the curse

That's where the doubt comes from

I will never disappear into a burst of dragonflies

And I won't try

I can't shoot a magic arrow, I'm not all that tough

How can I believe that I'm enough?

Trying to ignore it doesn't seem to work for us

Help me to believe that I'm enough

Half misfit, half mistake

Place bets - How long until we break?

When there's so much at stake

It gets demanding to be brave

Clandestinely we try

To wear our difference with pride

Three arms stretch open wide

Into the dark I cry

I am twice the insecurity they've bottled up

But only I can tell me "I'm enough"

I may be defective, but they've built me up with love

Maybe that alone makes me enough

You can keep your arrows, keep your muscle, keep your dragonflies

'Cause I'm just fine

I'll be fine
