Elias, suspended in blue

Falling backwards through the sky searching for you

Deep inside the flashes of white

We share more than just a name

Like the traits etched in our DNA

I'll never know what remains

Bound as one in time's constraints

It reminds me that I'm human, that nothing stays the same

Lost all the colour in your eyes, as every smile began to fade

It feels like I've been running in circles

Am I doomed to end this way?

Did it feel like you were drеaming?

Like you were turning backwards all this timе?

Are we connected through this feeling?

What made you draw the line?

Elias, suspended in blue

I know we'll never get to speak but I know you

Frozen skies, I'm reaching back in time

Burrow my head in my hands

As the colours all recede

I've met you in my sleep

Translucent you, revealed to me

I've been compared to you before

Seems we're quite alike, you know?

Is this connection as deep as blood?

As all the catacombs below?

Did it feel like you were dreaming?

Like you were turning backwards all this time?

Are we connected through this feeling?

What made you draw the line?

Elias, suspended in blue

Falling backwards through the sky searching for you

Deep inside the flashes of white
