Beneath this veil of sorrow

I nurse a grief, of lost belief

Reverberating hollow

I'm just a shell, where love used to dwell

Haunted by the hope I once tenderly embraced

Mocked by memories which cannot be erased

For you're no longer here I'll never be the same

My fight has lost its meaning, I'm weary of this game

Carrying thе weight of these complicatеd tears

Laden with a pain that no one ever hears

Tired of the lies that echoed on the years

I'm yearning for an answer

To break the spell, and bid farewell

I'll open up their eyes, let the truth arise

May deception cease, may I find my peace

For new beginnings may appear beyond this dark frontier

A sweeter story

And those who choose to stay I wish you well

May beauty blossom where tears once fell

For me nothing remains here but fragments of dreams

My world is coming down right at the seams

So conscience clear and my mind serene

The shadows of my longing all convene

To welcome in this ending scene as I draw the final curtain
