Bloody lace against her fingers

Intertwined with caustic tears

Broke her knees again from kneeling

Praying for him all these years

And her face is lined with sorrow

Like the crows have had their way

Twisted hearts can beat no longer

On the devil dirge’s day

Stay inside, my weeping widow

Bloodstains on the battlefield

Trails outside of seeping carnage

Fruitless violence has no yield

Stay inside, my weeping widow

For your groom is man no more

Peeling flesh and dormant monsters

Wash upon a crimson shore

Rotting flesh just smells of memories

Perfume on her wedding day

All the guests to make them merry

Arms to hold her when she sways

Now she’s like a broken poet

Too inspired by her pain

Spun herself a silent yarn

With much to lose and none to gain

I’ll see you when I walk (WALK THE GRAVEYARD)

I’ll see you when I call (CALL FOR MY GOD)

I’ll see you when I dream (DREAM OF VENGEANCE)

I’ll see you when I die (DIE OF GRIEF)

Stay inside, my weeping widow

Bloodstains on the battlefield

Trails outside of seeping carnage

Fruitless violence has no yield

Stay inside, my weeping widow

For your groom is man no more

Peeling flesh and dormant monsters

Wash upon a crimson shore

With her hands across her bosom

She can’t cradle all her grief

Giving birth to angels’ nightmares

Limbs that ache beyond belief

And the widow starts to tremble

For the war that rages on

Lost the anchor at her center

And her soulless ship is gone
