At the top of the year

I chose to be happy

And stack bundles

Through the rest of the year

'Rona came thru

Left an indelible mark on the year

Bucket full of tears

The pandemic swept away

A lot of my peers

Hell on earth, how?

Some of our angels

Even lost their breath

In the same timeline

Some babies arrived on planet earth

How ironical

How could the world be blessed and cursed in the same breath?

I could go on, but I'm stressed

I need a cold drink, to clear my head
