PARTY changes the meaning of “PYT,” standing for “pretty young thing,” an acronym first coined by singer Michael Jackson with his September 1983 track titled by the acronym, “P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing).” It is the same acronym that he flipped for the title of this track.
Describing a girl as “yellow” may mean one of many things. Yellow can be used to symbolize deceit, tying into the second half of the line with PARTY not believing anything this girl has to say. He also may simply be talking about her appearance, as she could be dressed in yellow, or her skin tone, as a yellow is skin tone is commonly associated with Asian people.
