Song For a Ghost

You're still apologizing, for debts left unpaid

Every word left unsaid

As long as we still have breath

We won't need far much else

Cause I, have brought this onto myself

This bridge that I cannot gap

When will I grow to relax? and lay inside the flame's I know will cover me

I keep having dreams, where something is going wrong

Where it has managed to find me again

Waking up in a pool of sweat, yet freezing cold

I'm growing older quicker, my glow, is fading away

Cause I have brought this onto myself

This earth that I cannot cross

I told myself that I could handle this all

But my pride has made me fall short, I've made a fool of us all

I'll cage myself, and never again let myself fall
