Saturday mornings, VHS in hand

Heroes rise in a distant land

Spirited wolves and moonlit fights

A prince with gold hair, under neon lights

A boy with tail searches for seven spheres

A mermaid’s voice, lost beneath her fears

Was it the colors, or was it the sound?

Did magic fade when we hit the ground?

Faded frames, where did you go?

Did the magic melt with the snow?

We hold on tight to make-believe

But do you think we were naive?

Tradеd capes for business suits

But still chasing treasurе chests and flutes

First crush was a sailor girl, hair of gold

They laughed and said, “Aren’t you too old?”

A lion’s roar, commands the pride

His kingdom stretches far and wide

Did we dream too big, too loud, too much?

Or did we just love that gentle touch?

Faded frames, where did you go?

Did the magic melt with the snow?

We hold on tight to make-believe

But do you think we were naive?

Did you ever wonder why we cared

Why we dreamed of skies that never scared?

When life’s too real, we paint it grand

In frames of ink, drawn by hand

“Moon power, make them pay!”

Echoes still in hearts that sway

We’re still those kids, with hearts that leap

Chasing dragons in our sleep

Now they call us out of touch

With dreams that they never wanted much

“Grow up, let go, it’s just a phase,”

But they never sang through watery haze

A thunderous strike, a beam of light

Splitting skies with endless might

Were we foolish to hold on tight?

Or did we just see a different light?

Now the frames fade, but the feeling stays

As we watch the world through pixel haze

(Glowing screens spill energy ... nostalgic energy)

And if we could rewind the tape

Would we find a better shape?

Or would we still fall for magic’s spell

Lost in stories we knew so well?

Maybe nostalgia’s just a game we play

But it keeps the dark and grey away
