We seek change when it’s all a phase

Nothing stays the same

Things will happen and you’ll have no say

If you notice your pain

& notice what you crave

You’ll find peace in place

Like a slice of life

When inside this space

All your notions of “I”

Begin to dissipate

Instead of fight or flight

Simply cultivate an awakened brain

To rely on faith is awareness displaced

Begin to observe that which you create

In a present state is where you’ll find your grace

If you’re having doubts

Just breathe in, breathe out

Pay attention to here

Pay attention to now

Start to open your eyes

To see that contents abound

Plot not your demise

Aim for a mind that’s sound

What will go around will come around

And righteousness provides solid ground
